Happy Taurus Season, Moonbeams!
To start this glorious Venusian season, I took a long walk in my local bog... and for at least the 30th time, recorded you a little unscripted, totally unfiltered audio note.
Why haven't I sent any of the past audio notes? Well, like so many people, I hold myself to a pretty high standard of production. I've been actively working to dismantle crippling perfectionism since 2017, and I still have a long way to go.
These talks began as little notes that I would occasionally send my dear friends, talking about the beautiful forest and bog park I walk through daily. These notes are a blend of my unscripted thoughts that are influenced by whatever I'm reading, watching or learning at the time, the local ecology, the beautiful mess of being human, and how our embodied living is a spiritual and magical experience.
After much prompting from these same dear friends, I've recorded a little love note about the recent eclipses for you. I almost backed out of sending it (again), and then this card popped out of a box I was going through, and smacked me in the face. Heard, spirit guides, heard!
Taurus is often unfairly given a poor reputation for taking it's time or even stubbornly not moving at all. However, it's best to look at Taurus from the perspective of being motivated by pleasure, and moving at the speed by which that pleasure can be maximized.
My bog walks are an exercise for my natal Mars in Taurus, which is (literally) most motivated to move out in nature, surrounded by beauty. Once Taurus has inertia, it becomes an almost unstoppable machine of sustainable-motion. Motivation (desire, a Venusian concept) is everything!
It's my pleasure to share the unscripted thoughts that rise to the surface of my mind as I take a little saunter through the magical wonderland of a bog and forest, with you, my dear Moonbeams.
